On March 11, 2022 at 11:30 a.m., Waldorf institutions across Germany spun a peace net(www.friedensnetz-waldorf.de) to make a joint appeal for peaceful coexistence in our world and to support people's global call for peace.
More than 450 students and staff of the Dresden Waldorf School met in the nearby Alaunpark in Dresden's Neustadt district and sent their message from there: the PEACE sign and the Ukrainian and Russian lettering "мир" (peace).
Thanks to the people from the peace network for the idea, the initiators here on site, the drone pilot and of course everyone who contributed to sending a small signal to the world with their participation and their good thoughts.
friedensnetz-waldorf is a private initiative by Mischka Kaiser and Tia ten Venne (www.friedensnetz-waldorf.de)
Realization/ Idea: A. Kern, J. Sonntag, G. Simpson (teacher at the Waldorf School)
Drone: Th. Meckbach
