School forum 2018

School forum, 15.03.2018 Revitalizing school as a place to live: Lessons, after-school care - and what else?

How lively is our school? And to what extent is it a "place to live"? And how could we - pupils, teachers and parents - continue to shape and develop this place of life?

At the invitation of the Parent-Teacher Council, around 35 participants at this year's school forum on 15.03.2018 addressed these and similar topics. Keynote speeches initially focused on three aspects: A representative of the New Waldorf School presented the "Pupils' Club" there, after-school care representatives from our school described the experience of pupils in their final year of after-school care in Year 4 and pupils, teacher representatives and management addressed the topic of the "school café".

In the subsequent workshop rounds and strengthened by the buffet provided by class 12A, the participants discussed meeting places inside and outside the school, all-day activities and animals in the school as well as possibilities for setting up and running a school café.
