Snacks in the after-school facilities
An integral part of the afternoon activities is the snack prepared in the presence of the children or together with them, the ingredients of which also come from organic farming and, at harvest time, from the parents' gardens. Each day of the week has its own characteristic meal (e.g. baking day, bread roll day). The fruit, vegetables and herbs are selected according to the season. The snack time is framed by small rituals (songs, seasonal and festive sayings). We attach great importance to a quiet eating atmosphere at a lovingly laid table. This provides valuable opportunities for storytelling and attentive listening for children and adults.
