Who are we?
The Student Council is the association of class representatives from grades 8-12 in the A and B trains. The student council appoints two student representatives from its own ranks.
The class representatives are:
- Represent the interests of the respective class,
- Responsible for the organization and coordination of class and school projects,
- contact person for pupils and teachers for information and in case of problems.
Class representatives are not:
- "assistants to the teachers"
- responsible for all tasks/activities
The student representatives ... :
- are one person each from the A & B classes.
- must have at least one year's experience on the student council.
- are elected annually.
Pupil representative is an important function, as they are responsible for the organization and continuity of the pupil council.
What are our goals?
Our goals are to improve the school climate and to incorporate and implement ideas from the individual classes. We see ourselves as the voice of the pupils and their concerns.
How can we be reached?
The student council meets every two weeks on alternating weekdays for 1 hour in the student room. The specific dates can be found in the schedule here on the website.
The meetings are chaired and moderated by one of the two student representatives. The individual points are discussed on the basis of a predetermined agenda. Information is also provided by representatives from the teachers' conferences and the parent-teacher council. If individual projects are to be implemented, a working group is formed from interested parties who regularly report on their current work status at the meetings and can contact the others if help is needed.

How are we elected?
Two student representatives are elected from each class in grades 8-12. The elections are held within the classes at the end of the school year, without the teachers having a say. Each class member writes down the names of two students of different genders face down. The votes are then counted and the winners of the election are announced.
Before the elections, the new class representatives from Year 7 are invited to one of the last pupil council meetings of the year by the Year 8 pupils in their respective platoon. Here they can get a taste of their future tasks. The elections are repeated at the end of each school year.
