Why Waldorf education?

Because we want to awaken the skills in children today that they will use to shape the world tomorrow.

The basis of teaching and work at the school is the pedagogy developed by Rudolf Steiner and founded in the anthroposophical view of the human being, which is constantly being further developed by Waldorf schools worldwide. With this, the staff want to consistently focus on the growing human being and enable them to develop their spiritual, mental and physical abilities as well as their social behavior in a balanced and healthy way. In this way, children and young people should develop independence and personal security, initiative and a sense of social responsibility, imagination and creativity as well as the ability to think in a networked way. Artistic activities are of particular importance at all ages.

The staff, together with the parents and friends of the school who are members of the school association, take responsibility for the fate of the school. In doing so, they strive to create a social structure in self-administration that makes these concerns possible. The pedagogical work and self-administration require the continuous personal development of all those involved in the school.
