Martinsbasar
The Saturday before the 1st Advent
The Martinsbasar is our big school festival.
It always takes place on the Saturday a week before the 1st Advent throughout the school grounds. We not only celebrate, but also collect donations, which we distribute to projects at home and abroad, to Waldorf initiatives and within the school. And we do public relations work for the school: interested parties can get to know the vibrancy of our school, talk to parents, pupils and teachers and attend the information event (as always at 1:00 pm and 2:30 pm).
There will be a variety of activities at the St. Martin's Bazaar: Craft and play activities in the individual classes, a market of various items made by parents and pupils, a flea market, the Gewandhaus, culinary and cultural contributions. We ask for donations.
At the end, there will be a lantern parade with singing together.
The Basarkreis
A continuously working preparation group, the so-called basarkreis, is responsible for the planning, organization and implementation in cooperation with parents, teachers and pupils. A bazaar committee representative is elected from each class, who then represents the interests of their class, prepares the respective class activity and is responsible for the exchange between the bazaar committee and the class. The Bazaar Circle works most intensively in the period leading up to the St. Martin's Bazaar (September to November, approx. twice a month), but meets more frequently throughout the year (once a month). After the St. Martin's Bazaar, the accounts are drawn up, applications for donations are collected and the money collected is distributed accordingly. In the debriefing, positive and negative reactions are evaluated and taken into account when planning the next St. Martin's Bazaar.
Our meetings are announced in the Gorier calendar and are open to all interested parties.
We are always happy to receive suggestions and feedback!
