Independent schools like the Dresden Waldorf School guarantee the necessary diversity in the education system. Become a member of the Dresden Waldorf School Association!
As a member, you assume responsibility and creative power for the development of our school. At the annual general meeting, the members make important decisions, e.g. on building projects and the annual budget. The best way to find out more is to read the statutes, and you are also welcome to visit us in person.

European Regional Development Fund
The Freie Waldorfschule Dresden received the following grants for the project to renovate the school building at Marienallee 5, 2nd construction phase, as part of the total construction volume of €1,700,000:
- Funding from the European Structural Funds ERDF (European Regional Development Fund) in the amount of € 709,786.11
The Freie Waldorfschule Dresden receives various grants to support its educational work:
Funding from the "Berufliche Bildung Land - Weiterbildungscheck" program of the Free State of Saxony (50% of further education costs)

Funding of measures with tax revenue on the basis of the budget approved by the Saxon state parliament:
- Inclusion assistant - Freie Waldorfschule Dresden (2023-2025), 1 full-time position
Our Dresden Waldorf School (lower school) participates in the 'EU School Program' with financial support from the European Union.
